We operate April through October on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
This year, we are introducing a new reservation system that allows rides to be purchased and scheduled in advance for Saturdays and Sundays. We will post a link on this website when ready.
Rides on Wednesdays and Fridays cannot be reserved and will only be available on a walk-up basis when sufficient members are on hand. Please call ahead on Wednesdays and Fridays to check availability.
The Willamette Valley Soaring Club is a nonprofit organization located in the Portland area and dedicated to the sport of soaring (flying gliders). We hope to introduce you to the wonders of soaring by taking you up on one of our rides. Perhaps you will like it so much that you will want to learn to fly a sailplane yourself. If you are a current or future pilot, we invite you to become a member. Our glider port is conveniently located near Portland, Oregon (directions). For gift certificates, please email us.
